A couple of things I remember historically about the
Gillenwaters. My
grandmother (Mattie V. Gillenwater) and her brother Oscar were
very emphatic
about theirname, in that it was spelled without an "S" at the
end. Oscar
had a coffee and spice co., in Wichita when I was very young. I
remember
the model "T" panel truck they used for delivery with
"Gillenwater CO." on
the side.
