Andrew was born in Elkhart, Indiana, and has little or no memory of
that place. He spent most of his early childhood in Fountain Valley,
California, and the rest of his young life in Stanton, Califorina. He
went to many schools as a child, attending eight different schools in
eight years; second through ninth grades. This was due to the moving
of special programs, the closing of schools, and other things. He
graduated from Pacifica High School in Garden Grove, California. While
there he was a member of the ASB (Associate Student Body) cabinet and
founded an organization to educate students on the dangers of drinking
and driving. He graduated from the University of California, Irvine
with a major in political science, receiving his bachelor's degree in
1992. It was here that he met his wife, Carrie. She is from Northern
California, and that is where they were married almost three years
later.
He was a Law Enforcement Exlporer for the city of Stanton,
California for 6 years, which eventually helped him make his decision
to become a police officer. He went to the Orange County Sheriff's
Academy and graduated in June 1991. He currently works for the
Fullerton Police Department in Orange County California.
Andrew and Carrie moved to Oceanside, California in 1993. This
was their first home that they owned. Later that year, their first
child was born making 1993 a very momentous year.
