Samuel Billingsley Hagan Black There were Blacks in early Monroe and Cumberland Co. This could be one of them. William Bowles Jacob Bushong William Curtis John Dickerson Joshua Ford John Fraime Edward Freiley This is the husband of Arthur Hagan's daughter Mary Hagan (m1810). Nancy Freiley This is Nicholas Freiley's wife, Nancy Birdwell, whose first husband was Thomas Hagan. John Gist Joshua Gott Arthur Hagan S I don't know what the S means. This could be Arthur who was married to Jane Means. Black Hagan Is this the same as Hagan Black above. Could he be the Arthur Hagan who is also called Black Arthur. Lydia Hagan I don't know who her parents are. She is possibly the Lydia Hagan who married John Smith Barlow in Monroe(Barren) Co around 1817. John Smith Barlow was known as "Smith" Barlow and was a well-liked and respected legislator from this area. He was so admired that many area parents named their sons after him in the middle to late 1800s. For example, Smith Barlow Hestand, Smith Barlow Eads, Smith Barlow Howard, Smith Barlow Baxter - I could go on ad infinitum. Sarah Hagan I can't identify her. Arthur Hagan's daughter Sarah had married Soloman Goodman in 1813, so she would not still be called Hagan in 1815. Jonas Hagan's 2nd wife was named Sarah, but I don't think they were yet married in 1815. If they were already married in 1815, I think that they were living then in Bourbon Co, KY. Young Arthur Hagan Probably Arthur Hagan, Jr. Seth Howard Thomas Howser Isaac Jackson Husband of Nancy Lumira Hagan. Tilman Laine Sarah Leister Probably related to Robert Leister(Leaster), who was married to Arthur Hagan's daughter Elizabeth. Sally Marrs Originally Sally Mulkey, sister of John. She married Joseph Bayless in Washington Co,TN, and they were almost certainly part of the group who migrated to Monroe(Barren) Co around 1800 that included Arthur Hagan, Thomas Means and others. Thomas Maynes James Means Thomas Means Brother of Jane Means, wife of Arthur Hagan. Alexander Moore L. Berry Moore I know a lot about him, but it's not related to Hagans. Thomas Mynes I think this is the Thomas Mynes(Maines) who was married to Mary Freiley, sister of Edward and Nicholas Freiley above. Benjamin Osborn There is a Pennington connection here. Jesse Pennington Probably son of Joshua. I don't know if there is a connection to the Hagans. Samuel Pennington This could be the son of Simeon who later moved to Jackson Co, TN. John Robertson Benjamin Rush Brother of William Rush, below. William Rush Husband of Jennie Hagan, daughter of Arthur. Dennis Springer Part of the Rush clan. His wife was Sarah Gott, probably related to Joshua Gott above. ======================================================================
