William Steenbergen married Sarah Casey, and according to another
account also a Beale. [Wayland]

[3098] A few years after the Revolution, William Steenbergen came over from
the South Branch of the Potomac to Shenandoah Co and married a
daughter of Col. Taverner Beale of Mt Airy, above Mt Jackson.

In 1794 "Baron" William Steenbergen came from the South Branch of the
Potomac River to Shenandoah Co, where he married second in 1797
