I have formed a tree back to her father and his three brothers. I have been unable to go any further. Here is what I have so far- John Moore m. Mary Long Allen Pinkie "AP" Moore: b.May 16 1876 d. Mar 15 1956 Lonnie Moore - Unknown Fate Lafayette Moore - Unknown Jimmy Moore - Unknown Allen lived in several different places including Tahoka, Cooper, Paris, and Crosby, Texas. He married Rosa Allie Wright of Cooper, Tx. They had 8 children named: Elmer, Otto, Jessie Earl, Bessie Inez, Lela Lee, Rosie, Estelle, Allen Pinkie Jr., and Baby M who died a few hour after birth. Rosa died the next day and both are buried together in the Dawson Cemtery in Cooper. Lonnie lived most of his life in Tahoka, Tx. He married Bessie (?) (my grandmother, Bessie Inez, was named after her). They had 9 children that I know of: Burle, Woody, Lonnie Jr., Richard, Ruby, Billy (girl), Myrtle, 1 girl, and 1 boy. Most of the family including Lonnie are buried in Tahoka Cemetery. I do not know who Fate married but he had three children named: Merril, Naomie, and Clessie. I have very little info on Fate. It was said that he lived somewhere in Red River County. The only other piece of info I have is that Naomie's married name was Gidden. Jimmy was the lost bother of the family. I only recently learned of him and part of his family and no body is sure that his name was Jimmy. He had a large family of which I know of: Joe, Delbert, one set of twins, and two girls. It was said that there were several more. The family also lived in the Red River County area and Paris, Tx. Each year this Moore family has a reunion in Lubbock, Tx. I am planning to attend next month and meet a few of these cousins and try to find out more info. If anyone has any question, comments, or relationships that they would like to discuss, please email me. \|/ _ _ __ /.\ _ /.\ __ __((()_-\_// \\_/-_()))__ / \ \_/ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - VIC LAWSON (VLAWSON@lanier.com) *****I'm from N.Carolina but I now live in Atlanta. I'm seeking info. on my gg-grandfather Henry Clay Moore. He was born in Pulaski Co, Va in 1850. He married Cornelia Francis Armentrout, d/o William St. Clair Armentrout and Margaret C. Loftland,in Pulaski Co, Va on 12/25/1876. They lived in Allisonia, Va. They had 11 children: Harless, Henretta, Fred, Damen, Zella, Roy, Ruth, Velma , Opal, Raga, Athol Vernan and Vivian. He died in a mining accident in 1906. I've been told his father and grandfather were both named Peter. The "story" is that Henrys' grandfather came from Ireland and was originally an O'Moore. In addition, his grandfather was partially scalped by the Indians as a young man but survived. If you have any info on a Peter Moore or Henry Clay Moore please let me know. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NANCY (MOORE) KEIR (nkeir@juno.com) *****I'm a Moore from western Pennsylvania who's family has been in the Chestnut Ridge area of Westmoreland County for five generations. (Derry, Bradenville, Latrobe and surrounding communities). Some moved to the mid-west in the 1800s. Got hooked on researching family history when we got our computer 10 months ago. Iive been lucky having distant cousins on both sides of the family who are into genealogy and have helped me considerably. Have lived in New Jersey and Illinois and last year retired back to the mountains of western Pennsylvania. Retirement has been great, we get to travel and spend time with family. Parents still live in this area but never knew grandparents, etc. My father has been a wealth of information and so have my cousins. Looking for information on the grandparents, great grandparents and great great grandparents or descendants thereof.: Johannes Conrad Moore (b 1791-1796-d ????) & Sussanna Nagel (b 1805-d 4/1876) (great great grandparents) (also known as John Moore & Susan Nagel Moore).
