Grading: Your grade will be determined by your exams (300), the final (150), homework and your work in class. Course attendance and active participation in the class work are strongly advised. By this way you can secure your grade earning extra points. Up to 50 (or even more) points can be earned in class.
Grades will be based on the number of points earned:
A-90%-100%,   B-80%-89%,   C-70%-79% ,   D-60%-69%,   E-0-59%.
The final grade is derived in accordance with the following formula
Final_grade = 2*(Number_of_points_for_tests + 5*Number_of_successful_works_in_class + Number_of_points_for_HW)/9
