I have successfully defended my dissertation entitled: "Earthquake Geology, Hazard, Urban Form and Social Vulnerability along the San Andreas Fault." and will be starting my career as an Assistant Professor of Earth Science at Utah Valley University in August, 2011. I am going to miss my colleagues within the IGERT in Urban Ecology Program and the Active Tectonics, Geomorphology and Quantitative Structural Geology Research Group at ASU. But I am looking forward to teaching about earthquakes and other geologic processes along the Wasatch Mountains!
