ENG 556 Theories of Literacy
Each week, after the Wednesday evening class, there will be an online forum for brief discussions and observations on some selected item do to with literacy. All of the items will be accessible via the internet.
The forum will be open from Wednesday night to Sunday at noon.
The link to the site will be posted on this page and on the forum. Go to the site, check it out and then post observations, discussions, responses, rants & raves on the ENG 556 forum for that week.
Note that postings are intended to be brief, informal, and unlike these instructions, even conversational.

This week's theme: What is Sexual Literacy?
(Hint: It's about promoting sexual wellness and rights)
Go to San Francisco State University's NSRC - National Sexual Resource Center http://nsrc.sfsu.edu/what_sexual_literacy and find out.
Unfortunately they no longer have their sexual literacy quiz available - but if you are burning to take yet another literacy quiz this week, you can go to the University of California-Davis Student Health Services website http://healthcenter.ucdavis.edu/hep/sh/misc.html and take the MTV sexual literacy test ("Test Your Sex Savvy").
