I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Arizona State University. I am currently working on research in Human-Computer Interaction with Dr. Winslow Burleson. My dissertation focuses on the relationship between affect (emotions) and creativity at individual and group level. I use a combination of wearable computing tools (such as socioscopes), social science instruments (online surveys), and affective computing (skin conductance recording, posture chair). I have also done projects in multimedia, haptics, and related aspects of human-computer interfaces.

I received my Bachelor of Sciences (B.Sc.) from St. Francis College for Women, Begumpet, Hyderabad, India in 2001 and Bachelors of Sciences (B.S.) in Computer Science at Arizona State University (ASU) in Fall 2003. I directly joined PhD in Spring 2004. I expect to graduate with PhD in Fall 2010.

In addition to research on Human Computer Interaction, I am interested in publishing and literature.
