Project Bhoomi (IBM & Gujarat Informatics Ltd. initiative, INVITE)
- Developed a web based, cross platform Geographic Information System (GIS) for effective land record management.
- The Survey records were digitized with a graphic interface enabling the user to fetch/edit details of any point on a map (like Yahoo Maps).

Mobile Buddy (DADP Programme of Reliance Communications Ltd., India)
- Designed an animated, speech interactive mascot which would read out news, stock quotes etc. as per user convenience on Java enabled phones.
- Gained hand on experience of J2ME toolkit, TTS Engines and additional mobile libraries of Reliance Communications Ltd.
- Worked as the Project Team Leader of a team of 4 people.
Academic Projects
Visualizing Feelings(MS ‘Multimedia Systems - Analysis, Communication and Interaction’ Class Project)
Developed a visualization interface using WeFeelFine API and Processing 1.0 to analyze the temporal behavior of human emotions and to correlate human emotions like Sad,Happy with generalized external events like Unemployment,Stock Market Index. The project lead to interesting discovery of things like more blogger on east coast then on west coast etc.[report]
Semantic XML Search Engine(MS 'Data on Web' Class Project)
Developed a web based semantic search engine for XML implementing AND, OR and NOT semantics.The project presented a web interface to upload xml files and search for elements using queries involving AND, OR, NOT semantics.[report]
Image Retrieval Engine (MS 'Multimedia and Web Databases' Class Project)
- Developed a similarity based retrieval engine for images.
- The matching was done on color,texture and shape features of an image.
- Positive Relevance feedback was integrated.

Focused Crawler (Undergraduate Thesis) at LTRC, IIIT Hyderabad, India
Developed a focused crawler which selectively crawls through Hindi Language web pages of Tourism Domain.[report]

- Implemented a web based customizable single information interface (on the lines of iGoogle) to integrate various web services on one interface.
- Drag and drop interface to rearrange feeds on screen, notepad gadget, calendar gadget.
