Shannon Beaver is an undergraduate student at Arizona State University. She is currently completeing her senior year to earn a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism through the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She is also minoring in sociology.
Shannon is a Denver native who attended Mountain Vista High School, then attended the Univeristy of Northern Colorado in Greeley. She wanted to pursue a career in journalism and decided to move to Arizona to acomplish that goal. Shannon's passion for dance led her to join a student ran orginaztion at Arizona State called the ASU Dancing Devils, which she is currently the Preseident of. The team is very active in community service in Phoenix and Tempe. With the team, Shannon has particapted in events such as the Breast Cancer 3-day Walk, Relay for Life and Ironman.
Shannon uses her creativity through dance, by choergraphing routines for the Dancing Devils and through videography. After graduating in Fall of 2010, Shannon hopes to pursue her intersts in broadcast journalism working as a producer. She also hopes to gain knowledge through an internship in the Summer of 2010.
Shannon's passion, leadership and decidcation make her an unqiue professional.
