Personal Information

My full name is S. M. Mahbub Murshed, although my nick name suman is used more. Also, I have been using Udvranto Pathik as my online nick sice 2002.

My dad S. M. Liyakat Ali, works for the T&T Board as Divisional Accountant. My mom, Mrs. Murshida Begum is a working in the Family Planning department of Bangladesh govt. as an accountant as well.

We are two brothers. My younger brother is doing his bachelor on computer science in Queens University, Bangladesh.

I completed my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology. I enrolled into Arizona State University at Spring, 2005 for pursuing Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I am specializing in Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing with Dr. Jami J Shah.

I worked as Teaching Assistant under Dr. M A Taher Ali, BUET. I also worked as Jr. Software Engineer in Metatude Asia Ltd. for three months before coming to ASU. Currently I am working in the Design Automation Lab.
