Samantha Shomaker is a writer who loves interacting with people and wants to use her talents to promote her passions in community service and music. She has an interest in business and is working to expand her knowledge so she can be more independent. She is an honors student in the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, actively purusing a joint Bachelor/Master of Arts.
Her main work experience is with the ASU Alumni Association, where she works in the programs department. Although considered a student worker, she gets to see the planning and implementation of large-scale events, such as Founder's Day, Golden Reunion and Homecoming activities, as well as smaller networking and chapter activities.
She is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Psi, a professional business fraternity that emphasizes professionalism, networking and philanthropy while building brotherhood.
Her passion, positive attitude, enthusiasm and dedication make her a unique individual striving to make a difference in the world.
