The two sections I chose to link were the links and archives section. On the official chesscafe site, both of these web pages had decent layouts but were definitely missing some higher quality. Both were quite simple pages, no tables or extensive borders, but the distracting ads and changing link formats were quite ineffective. The store or shop would have taken enormous time...The skittles room would have been interesting, but might have required some Java, Flash or other plugins.
I really enjoyed the whole process of this project and definitely learned a lot. I enjoyed the css stylesheets the most, as I haven't had the knowledge previous to this class to use the css techniques. The stylesheet seems to be the most valuable tool learned this semester, as a template is so key in designing under the binds of time. Overall I enjoyed the whole process.
