Theresa Dillon considered a career in dental hygiene before realizing her true passion was writing.

Journalism was a career path that quickly gave Theresa many challenges, learning opportunities and real world experience.

As a student at Mesa Community College, Theresa held various editor positions at the weekly paper, The Mesa Legend. For a year and a half, Theresa was the up-to-date editor, the features editor and copy editor. Her time at The Mesa Legend allowed Theresa to not only write and edit but to design the content and page layouts for various sections.

Theresa moved on from The Mesa Legend to join Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Currently a senior, Theresa has learned photojournalism and multimedia skills to go along with her writing skills.

Today Theresa is a writer and photographer for State Press Magazine where she writes a variety of stories, takes photographs and produces multimedia pieces.
