Note to All Attendees:
We hope that you are all finalizing your plans to come to the September 2008 conference. The first session will be on Friday, September 5th, at 9:00 a.m. in Room ERC 490 on the A.S.U. campus. The entire program is on the website.
For most attendees, your hotel reservations have been made and you need to proceed to the Twin Palms Hotel in Tempe from the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Instructions are on the website.
Note that upon entry to the United States, citizens of Visa Waiver Program countries just present their passport and their letter of invitation to the United States Immigration Official upon entry and request WB status (Waiver for Business) instead of WT (Waiver of Tourism). Attendees must obtain a B1 or WB status since they really are coming here for business, not a B2/WT status which is strictly for tourists. Their precise status, business or tourist, is stamped on their I-94 card, which is why the I-94 card is required to be submitted with the Alien Data Collection Form and their other immigration documents.
There will be a 'registration desk' at the Twin Palms on the morning of Thursday, September 4th, until 8:00 pm.
