Short Bio

I am a 3rd-year PhD student in computer science at Arizona State University, advised by professor Baoxin Li. For Fall 2019, I am collaborating with Adobe on an image inpainting project.

Previously I worked with professor Ruisheng Wang and obtained my MSc degree from department of Geomatics Engineering, University of Calgary. My research was supported by AITF scholarship and two Google Research Awards (2014 and 2015).

My research interest covers several aspects of machine learning and computer vision. Generally, I like investigating theory and applications on graph, and seeking its interpretation under deep learning framework. Recently, I also conducted research on determinantal point process.
