Dr.
Tracy Spinrad is an Assistant Professor in the department of Family and
Human Development at ASU. She received her Ph.D. in Human Development and
Family Studies from the Pennsylvania State University, and completed a
post-doctoral fellowship at ASU. Dr. Spinrad
studies the factors that contribute to infants' and toddlers' social and
emotional development.

Dr.
Nancy Eisenberg is a Regents' Professor in the department of Psychology
at ASU. She received her B.A. at the University of Michigan and her
Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Eisenberg has
studied, taught, and written about children's social and emotional development for
over two decades. Her research examines how children get along with others, their helpfulness and
empathy for others, their problems of adjustment, and how they deal with
their emotions.

Anne
Kupfer is a Faculty Research Associate in the department of Psychology,
and Project Director for the Toddler Emotional Development Project.

Cindy
Smith is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the department of Psychology. She
received her B.S. from the Pennsylvania State University, and her Ph.D. from
UNC-Greensboro, where she worked extensively with toddlers and their
families.

Adrienne
Sadovsky is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the department of Psychology, having recently
completed her Ph.D. at the University of Wyoming in Laramie. When not working,
she enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, and
spending time with her dog, Basil.

Karissa
Greving is a doctoral student in the department of Family and Human
Development. Most of our parents met her
in the hospital when their "new addition" arrived into their families.
Karissa received her B.A. at ASU, but was born and raised in Wisconsin--a "cheesehead" and
proud of it. She also has two nephews that serve as her personal
consultants about infants and toddlers!

Bridget
Gaertner is a doctoral student in the department of Family and
Human Development. She received her B.A. from Washington
University in St. Louis--her hometown and the best sports town ever. Bridget and her husband Scott
have four terrific kids--Jaime, Lexi, Lindsey and Abby (love you guys!).

Amanda
Cumberland is a doctoral student in Developmental Psychology.

Elizabeth
Stanley is a doctoral student in School Psychology. She is
originally from South Carolina, receiving her B.A. from Clemson University
(Go Tigers!!), and she and her husband, Mick, moved to Arizona three years
ago. Elizabeth also works at the Infant Child Research Program and
serves as a therapist for children with autism.

Jeffrey
Liew is a doctoral student in Developmental Psychology. His research
interests focus on risk and protective factors that predict children's
affective and behavioral reactions during frustrating situations and how
their reactions predict concurrent and later socioemotional adjustment.
Jeff is also the "Resident Graduate Stranger" for this project.

Claire
Champion is a doctoral student in Developmental Psychology. She is
originally from Grenoble, France, where she earned her undergraduate
degree in psychology.

Melinda
Baham is a doctoral student in Developmental Psychology, and is originally
from southern California.
