The Toddler
Emotional Development Project at Arizona State University is designed to
study how children grow and develop during their early years. We are interested in
the ways that toddlers react to their surroundings, and how these behaviors may
vary in individual children and across different situations. The main goal
of the project is to understand patterns of emotion and behavior in toddlers and
how these patterns relate to their behavior as they grow older. We are
also interested in the ways that families contribute to emotional development in
children.
We currently have almost
three hundred families participating in our project, and we have been following the
children's development since infancy. We would like to thank all our
toddlers and parents for their involvement in the project--we can't do this
without families like you!
