Victoria Pelham

Victoria Pelham is a bilingual sophomore at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Barrett, the Honors College, pursuing combined bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism.

Originally from England, Victoria came to Arizona from El Dorado Hills, CA.

She is interested in multimedia journalism, Arabic, traveling, writing, piano and international studies, a certificate that she is working toward.

She is currently a project associate in the ASU Office of Public Affairs, where she is in charge of writing and social media responsibilities for Club ASU. She also freelances for the Downtown Devil, a student-run news website serving the downtown Phoenix area.

In the past, she has worked as an editorial intern for Style Magazine Group, regional lifestyle magazines in the greater Sacramento area.

She plans on one day working as either an international correspondent, travel magazine reporter or pursuing a career in international relations.

Victoria first became interested in journalism to give those without a voice a chance to be heard and to tell the stories of different peoples and cultures, pursuits she hopes to keep as a foundation for all of her work.
