One summer day in June, 2006, EMS paramedic Ryan Anderson sat in his
ambulance vehicle enjoying a slice from Tony’s Pizza. The sun had just begun to melt
into an orange glow as it lit the horizon on fire. The time was around six o’clock, and
on such a beautiful day, Anderson wanted to be anywhere but work. He and his
partner were waiting at the Park View Hospital on State Street wasting time.

Where Art Thou?
It seems the recent destruction of Woods Hall has presented more questions than
answers. The arts have found themselves on uncertain ground regarding the future of
their programs. There has been a lack of communication to this point addressing some
major concerns for the arts. Along with the old student union went many of the facilities
the arts programs used. Uncertainty hangs overhead like an ugly rain cloud, and no one
seems to know when there will be answers. Download story.

Last Sunday UMass freshman guard Matt Glass was gold from beyond the arc
hitting 4-6 attempts and coming up with 14 points in just 13 minutes of play against St.
