Development of a reliable service scheduler in a distributed web service environment

Task 1        Improve the service manager module. Possibly use database to store user information. Integration with the scheduler module.
Task 2        Resource and service agent. Integration of the service agent and the scheduler.
Task 3        Graphic interface and sample clients
Task 4        Development of the flagship client and the integration with the service manager and service agent.

Project Description

In this project, students will design and implement a service scheduler that can provide reliable and real-time service to the clients. Technologies to be used include
- .Net integrated development environment
- C# multithreading programming language
- TCP/IP layer communication among the distributed notes
- web technology
Required skills
• Object-oriented programming languages (CSE240 or equivalent),
• Computer organization and architecture (CSE330 or equivalent),
• Operating systems (CSE430 or equivalent), and
• Distributed computing (CSE445 or equivalent).
