Zach Fort is a multimedia journalist in the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.
Zach's journalism career began as a sports writer/columnist for his high school newspaper. From there, a love of reporting persuaded him to pursue journalism further, which brought him to the Cronkite School in the Fall '07.
Since he began college, Zach has developed and expertise in video editing using Final Cut Pro, in audio editing using Soundtrack Pro, as well as a proficiency in reporting, live shots, writing for broadcast and print, as well as reading from the anchor desk.
His experience in the industry began to take off when FOX Sports offered him an internship as a production assistant during the Super Bowl XLII in Glendale. This was followed by more opportunities with FOX Sports at the 2009 Fiesta Bowl, as well as the 2008 and 2009 NASCAR Subway Fresh Fit 500 at Phoenix International Raceway.
Before graduating with an emphasis in broadcast in May 2011, Zach plans to pursue openings in television news reporting so he will be able to start his career the second the degree is in hand.
