Projects
Recent and current areas of study in my lab include:
- If and how community supported agriculture programs are related to participant health and sustainability behaviors.
- The role of technology in improving healthy food access at, and financial viability of, farmers' markets. This was a collaboration between the Nutrition and Exercise & Wellness programs.
- The ways the local supply chain can be structured or incentivized to offer increased healthy food access in food deserts. This project is currently being conducted in collaboration with the Morrison School.
- How the novel model of food hubs can be employed to overcome barriers to healthy food access for food insecure populations.
