Birth Order: Second out of 4 children...I have one older brother and two younger sisters so I'm considered an "oldest" child

Family: Married 32 (and counting) years to the A#1 guy (Rudy); 2 babies (big babies), a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and two grandbabies:

• Baby 1: Married, completed her Masters/PhD in Educational Psychology (Measurement, Statistics, and Methodological Studies) at Arizona State University, has two babies, and teaches statistics.

• Son-in-law: Completed his JD and MBA at Arizona State University and works as a lawyer.

• Baby 2: Graduated from ASU with a degree in Psychology. Currently applying to Medical School. Served a two-year Spanish speaking mission in New York for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon).

• Daughter-in-law 2: Graduated from NAU, but we love her anyway. Works with SSFD's Lives of Girls and Boys Enterprise.
  

Favorite Food: Thai, Mexican, anything SPICY (most exotic foods I've eaten...rattlesnake, alligator, and rocky mountain oysters...don't ask...taste like chicken!)

Past Occupations: Scooped ice cream at Baskin-Robbins; filled water glasses at Furr's Cafeteria; receptionist, bookkeeper, psychometrist at St. Joseph's Mental Health Center; biofeedback therapist; medical transcriptionist; food server; hostess in an Italian restaurant; reserve police officer for City of Phoenix; infant swim instructor; infant massage therapist; speech and language pathologist; creator/designer of a children's museum; writer; advisor...whew! (don't forget...i've been around awhile)

Current Occupation: Senior Lecturer (ask my kids!)

Pets: 2 dogs (an old english and a huskita (huskie/akita)), 1 bird

Hobbies/Recreation: Hiking; kayaking; snow skiing; racquetball; walking; webpage building; exploring; raising kids!

Politics: Fiercely Independent

Religion: LDS (Mormon)... "Dyed in the wool; true blue, through and through."
