In Spring 2021, all of the lectures, recitations, and
labs for PHY101 10397 and 12670 will be held remotely
via Zoom.
For completing our labs, use of LoggerPro will be
required; installation of the LoggerPro program
requires either a Windows or a Mac operating system.
If you do not presently have access to one of these
two operating systems, then you will need to checkout
a Windows laptop from the ASU Library system.
For taking the final exam, use of a Lockdown Browser
will be required; installation of the Lockdown Browser
requires either a Windows or a Mac operating system (Note: Virtual
Machines will not work).
If you do not presently have access to one of these
two operating systems, then you will need to checkout
a Windows laptop from the ASU Library system.
Here
is the library information page about checking
out a laptop for the semester, and
here
is the page where you submit the request.
Also, when taking our final exam you will need to
use two devices. One device will just be for
joining the Zoom meeting (with video on) during
which the exam will be given; for most students,
this device will be your phone. The second device
will be the laptop or desktop (Windows or Mac)
that you actually use to take the test within the
Lockdown Browser.
For lectures, all Zoom meetings will be held
from 9:00-10:15 TTH or from 10:30-11:45 TTHU
in Dr. Adams' Zoom meeting room at
https://asu.zoom.us/j/8349628496.
