In Spring 2021, all of the class meetings and recitations
for PHY121 16589 will be held remotely via Zoom. For
the recitations, there may be some possibility of
in-person attendance later in the semester.
For taking tests, use of a Lockdown Browser will be
required; installation
of the Lockdown Browser requires either a Windows or
a Mac operating system (Note: Virtual
Machines will not work). If you
do not presently have access to one of these two
operating systems, then you will need to checkout a
Windows laptop from the ASU Library system.
Here
is the library information page about checking
out a laptop for the semester, and
here
is the page where you submit the request.
Also, when taking our tests you will need to use
two devices. One device will just be for joining
the Zoom meeting (with video on) during which the
test will be given; for most students, this device
will be your phone. The second device will be
the laptop or desktop (Windows or Mac) that you
actually use to take the test within the
Lockdown Browser.
For classes, all Zoom meetings will be held
from 3:05-4:20 MW in Dr. Adams' Zoom meeting
room at
https://asu.zoom.us/j/8349628496.
To find the Zoom link for recitations, please
see our Recitation Schedule.
Here are the instructions for joining our Zoom meetings.
