In Spring 2022, lectures, recitations, and
labs for PHY101 10368 and 12480 will, whenever possible,
offer an option to attend remotely via Zoom.
For completing our labs, use of LoggerPro will be
required; installation of the LoggerPro program
requires either a Windows or a Mac operating system.
If you do not presently have access to one of these
two operating systems, then you will need to plan
to attend all of our LoggerPro labs in person in
PSH365, and use the desktop computers available
there.
Test-taking is expected to require in-person attendance.
If exceptional circumstances require remote test-taking,
then use of a Lockdown Browser
will be required; installation of the Lockdown Browser
requires either a Windows or a Mac operating system (Note: Virtual
Machines will not work).
If you do not presently have access to one of these
two operating systems, then you will not be able to
take advantage of any remote test-taking opportunities.
Also, when taking a test remotely you will need to
use two devices. One device will just be for
joining the Zoom meeting (with video on) during
which the exam will be given; for most students,
this device will be your phone. The second device
will be the laptop or desktop (Windows or Mac)
that you actually use to take the test within the
Lockdown Browser.
For lectures, all Zoom meetings will be coincident
with the in-person class in PSF101 and will be held
from 9:00-10:15 TTH or from 10:30-11:45 TTH
in Dr. Adams' Zoom meeting room at
https://asu.zoom.us/j/8349628496.
