Check to see that your clicker is on the proper channel;
the channel indicator is in the upper left-hand corner
of your NXT Response Card screen. The Turning Point
receiver currently in PSF-101 is on channel 50. This
classroom-receiver channel number will be visible on the
classroom computer screen once the classroom Turning
Point software has been started for that day.

To change the channel on your NXT clicker, please do the following:

    * Press the Channel Button (second highest button on the left
      hand side of the clicker)

    * Use the number pad to enter the new channel number

    * Press the Enter Button (an oval button with a white dot at
its center). THIS STEP IS VERY IMPORTANT.

In PHY101, we use only single response multiple choice
questions. When responding to questions in class, press
your selected response button firmly. Your response will
be confirmed in the following way:

    * You will see your answer on the screen, i.e. 1/A, and you
will see a smiley face or a check mark under the answer.

As long as the question is still open for polling, you can always
change your answer by simply entering a different answer.

Here is the NXT ResponseCard Guide as provided by Turning Point.

As described in the Turning Point policies, ONCE during
the session I will change your TP score if you tell
me you were present but your TP score was not
recorded properly, either because your batteries
were dead or even if you forgot your clicker. Send
me an email indicating the necessary change. I must
receive this email within TWO DAYS of the relevant
  lecture.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THAT YOUR
TRANSMITTER IS IN WORKING ORDER AND THAT YOUR
  SUBMITTED ANSWERS ARE RECEIVED.

If you have any questions about using your clicker
that are not answered here, visit the Turning Point
  Frequently Asked Questions page.

As an alternative, you may make an appointment
with the ASU Clicker Support Team.
