Points in the Sky
Performance Software
To run the software for this work you must have either the Max/MSP application (version 4.6 or higher) installed on your computer or the Max/MSP Runtime application. This latter application is available as a free download and will enable you to access all aspects of the Points software. To obtain this free software go to the following link:
Choose "Older Max Mac Versions." This will take you to the download page.
Under the heading "Max/MSP 4.6.3" download "Max/MSP 4.6.3 Runtime (9 MB)" and install the application on your computer.
Then click on the download below for the Points software. This will download as a compressed package which you will have to unstuff with an application such as Stuffit and will then appear on your desktop (or download location/folder) as a folder titled "Points (2009) Interface." This folder will contain a document called "Points in the Sky..." plus 14 soundfiles. Note that you must keep the document and the soundfiles in the same folder for the application to run successfully. Double click on the document and it will open in Max/MSP Runtime. Instructions for setup and operation are accessed by clicking on the purple buttons on the interface.
