Hi,

I've been checking out your web site for a long time. It's really informative, (a must for real willy's lovers) I really like it. I would like to see my old willy's in your gallery. It is a "61" model. I am the second owner. It had 61,000 miles on it when I traded for it. It now has 93,000 miles.

It's all original except tires/wheels,seats and paint. It came out of the factory two tone, teal green and white. It has all original running gear with 226 engine, T-90 transmission, DANA-18 transfer case. Dana-25 front axle, timken sisio rear axel with 4-88 gears. Everything on the old truck still works good. All the original wiring is still in good shape and still has the factory wrap on all harnesses ect., original turn signal switch, high beam indicator, dome light. Everything works good except the fuel gage sticks and the vaccum wiper motor needs cleaning out.

As for the body, it's showing very little rust, the floor pans are rusting out around the outer edges. One rocv-er panel is starting to rust out and the bed sides are banged up a little from hauling fire wood and stuff like that.

I did rebuild the engine from top to bottom with new crank, pistons, cam, lifters, valves, valve guides....you get the picture. It runs really great!

It is currently for sale, (against my wife's wishes) I just don't have a lot of free time to invest. Any offers?

Thanks

    James Crawford
