I've attached a couple of pictures of the Willys truck I bought in '96 for $600. I was looking forward to driving this truck but may not get the opportunity. One day, I'd like to see it in one of your galleries finished. I need to sell it. I'm hoping a fellow enthusiast will have the time and resources.

The truck had a tag on the firewall that said it was a '51. The title didn't match the numbers and it said it was a '52. Turns out, it was a both vehicles. It now has an Indiana VIN and registration.

I started by taking the vehicle apart and sand blasting the frame.

I've put a ½ ton Chevy drive train under the original frame. It has a 4-speed transmission and the rear axle has a locker installed. The motor is a 350 4 bolt main bored .030 over. With the exception of the Holley, the aluminum intake and the headers, the motor was built to match the performance of a 1969 350-hp motor.
