  • Bioinformatics Resources by Comb Lab   The COMB Lab is the Computational Biology Lab at the McGill Centre for Bioinformatics. This website provides some useful information and Data Sets on Bioinformatics. In addition it also provides to some links to other resources related to Bioinformatics
  • Mouse Genome Informatics   The Mouse Genome Informatics Database provides integrated access to data on the genetics, genomics and biology of the laboratory mouse. The projects contributing to this resource are:
  • Knowledge Discovery in Biology and Medicine   This website is provided by Gene Cards. GeneCards™ is a database of human genes, their products and their involvement in diseases. It offers concise information about the functions of all human genes that have an approved symbol, as well as selected others
  • The Protein Data Bank   A very good repository for the processing and distribution of 3-D biological macromolecular structure data
  • ExpressDB Information Page   ExpressDB is a relational database containing yeast and E. coli RNA expression data. It contains more than 20 million pieces of information loaded from numerous published and in-house expression studies
  • The Department of Molecular Genetics   This website is maintained by the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. It provides useful acess to Genome Database containing data sets on Yeast, C.elegans, Drosophila, Mouse and Humans
  • National Center for Biotechnology Information(NCBI)   This website is created by NCBI. NCBI creates public databases, conducts research in computational biology, develops software tools for analyzing genome data, and disseminates biomedical information
  • Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics   The ExPASy (Expert Protein Analysis System) proteomics server of the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics (SIB) is dedicated to the analysis of protein sequences and structures as well as 2-D PAGE
  • TIGR- plant and animal genomes   The TIGR Databases are a collection of curated databases containing DNA and protein sequence, gene expression, cellular role, protein family, and taxonomic data for microbes, plants and humans. Anonymous FTP access to sequence data is also provided
