Activity/Assignment for “Twilight”

Stephanie Meyer has said that she got the idea of “Twilight” from a very vivid dream she had.

Activity: The students will free write about the dream they had the night before, if students do not remember the dream that they had the night before they can free write on a dream that they do remember. After giving the students about fifteen minutes of free writing we will resume class with an open discussion of the dreams. Students that do not want to share their dreams do not have to.

The assignment given to the students to be completed for the next class will be a written short story (1-2 pages) based on their free write.

Each student will get participation points for completing this assignment.
