Currently I am a junior at Arizona State University who is majoring in global business. Before attending ASU I had attended Glendale Community College for two years where there I majored in accounting but quickly changed my major to global business. While at GCC I played golf for the two years that I was there. In my first year I had the lowest scoring average among all of the freshmen, and during my second year I had the lowest scoring average on the squad and I was named on the all-conference team. During the summer of finishing at GCC and attending ASU I visited Cal. St. at Monterey Bay to try to walk on their team. I was able to play a round with the head coach and two other of my teammates who were trying out as well. I shot an even par round of 72 and I was given a spot on the team. However I was unable to go UCMB because of the high tuition and living costs in Seaside, CA.
My goal once I graduate from Arizona State University is to get into the real estate industry somehow. Currently I am working in the retail industry in consultive selling. I am hoping that this experience will enable myself to become more comfortable around people and help my selling skills in the future.
