Procedures for Obtaining Legal migrant/Work Status

Independent skilled migrants can come to Australia without a sponsor if their qualifications, job skills, and record of employment is good. This means they will be able to settle into the Australian way of life and find work within a short period.

You may apply as a Family Migrant as a partner or Spouse, or defacto Spouse, Partner Migration Visa, Fiance Visa (with intentions of marriage, interdependent Partner Migration Visa. Also as a child including children’s Migration Visa, adoption Migration Visa, or Orphan Child Migration.

For all but the Family Migrant Visas of the Visa’s you have to have good work history, pass a test on level of English Langauge ability,but all Visa’s will be assessed against Australia's health and character requirements.
