Hi, My name is Vanessa Guadalupe Montes and this is my beautiful family. 

We are five brothers and sisters all together, Andy, Joe, Hector, Claudia and Me, Vanessa. 

I have ten nieces and nephews, Andy, Leslie, Cho-Cho, Chiquis, Hectorin, Aaron, Amber, Danny,

 Daveigh, and Brian. My parents are Guadalupe and Andres Montes and they have been married for

 thirty years.  I have a baby named Jose-Andres and he is the love of my life.  My parents are from

 Sinaloa Mexico, but I was born and raised in Los Angeles California.  I am twenty-two years old

 and I am pursuing a degree in Global Business at ASU.  My dream is to one day become a fashion

 designer for wedding dresses and having my own line.  My hobbies include illustrating, reading,

listening to all kinds of music, helping others and playing with my baby.  I am proud to be Hispanic

 American because I have the best of both worlds.  I am first generation American and the first to

 attend a University in my family.  I have an profound interest in migrant rights, therefore I chose to

 participate in this Migration & Culture course.
