Reggie's closing letter

    Welcome to my place in the web!  I hope you found this website both enjoyable and informative. During my military service I was ordered to live in seven various locations before I landed in Phoenix of which I now call home.

    Being somewhat a migrant as far as my military life is concerned I am familiar with the anxiety associated living in strange new places. I remember as part of our newcomer orientation someone from the local community would give their welcoming speech and mention things that are unique to them. No matter how hostile things may be there was always an effort to make living together better.

    This course has opened my eyes even more to the issues surrounding migration. If there is one thing I would like for you to learn from this website is that we share this world in borrowed time. With the time we have let's make it a better place for our children's sake whether home or overseas.
