Semester at Sea Fall 2006 Voyage  banner

Open Letter

To whom it may concern,

I hope you enjoyed going through my writings and thoughts as that I acquired while traveling around the world.  I will always remember the faces of the hundreds of people I cam across during this voyage of discovering.

I want to thank all the people who took the time to get to know me during this trip.  To the woman in Japan to helped me and my friends how to get to the deer park.  To the people at the consulate in Hong Kong who fixed my passport problems.  To the farmers along the Mekong River in Vietnam who welcomed us into his land and let us poke around.  To the villagers in Burma who led us through the jungle and let us ride their elephant.  To my new Egyptian father who showed me around and bought me ice-cream.  To the students I met in Turkey who welcomed us and wanted to know all about us.  To the shoppers at all the cafes in Croatia and Spain who bombarded me with questions.

I want to acknowledge all of my friends who traveled with me.  I had so much fun experiencing the world with some of the most amazing people I have ever met.  And I will never forget how lucky we are to have this opportunity to travel around the world together.
Thank you again and I love all of you.  Thank you for showing me the world.
