Information
Who
is eligible:
Advanced
undergraduate and graduate students or those with strong anthropological
or biological backgrounds from Arizona State University or other institutions.
Requirements
for the field: Ability to hike, conduct excavations,and physical
exertion. We will make every effort to accomodate the needs of everyone
and if you have special needs, please inquire.
Enrollment:
Limited to 20 students.
Program
Fee: Varies between $5600.00 and $8800.00 depending on number of participants,
undergraduate/graduate status, and residency.

Program
fee includes: Pre-departure
orientation, ISIC on-site support
staff, orientation in Addis Ababa, travel, lodging, and meals within
Ethiopia, medical insurance, and Arizona State University tuition for
12 credit hours for undergraduate students/6 credit hours for graduate
students.
Program
fee does not include: Airfare
to Ethiopia, passport/visa expenses, immunizations, or anti-malarial
drugs (these are necessary).

2.
Select the field school program under Ethiopia
for further instructions.
NOTE: Non-ASU students MUST contact the
Center for Global Education Services (480) 965-5965 in order to receive an application packet.
ASU students may go to the office and pick up an application packet. The Center for Global Education Services will also answer your questions about registration, finance,
and course credits and also help you with registration. For other questions
