About me

My name is Mansooreh Karami. I am a computer engineering Ph.D. student in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Arizona State University. I am a research assistant at the Data Mining and Machine Learning Laboratory (DMML), led by Dr. Huan Liu. My main research interests are in the areas of Social Media Mining, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing.

Before joining ASU, I got my master's degree in computer engineering with a focus on artificial intelligence from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. Through my Master’s degree study, I had been working on 3D reconstructions algorithms in the field of machine vision, supervised by Dr. Shohreh Kasaei.
