| Hello and welcome to Module 5! This week we will be talking about different types of Application Software.

| What's happening this week:

| 1) View the lectures: This week there will be two lectures posted. (the quiz on this material will be next week).
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Lecture 3 will cover operating systems and will be posted Tuesday. In this lecture I will review the material in the first half of Chapter 3, as well as some additional operating system related material. I will also demonstrate how to access ASU at iTunesU, and how to download and view our video podcasts and other course materials located there.

|
|
|
|
|
| Lecture 4 will cover application software and will be posted Wednesday. In this lecture I will review the second half of Chapter 3, and then demonstrate and give a primer on using some application software (via myapps.asu.edu): Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, etc.

| 2) Participate in the discussion board. This week's question will be posted Tuesday.

| 3) Complete Assignment 2 and submit it to the digital drop box by Sunday, Feb. 22nd at midnight.
