Research at ASU
Goal:     to practice researching for different types of sources, making sure to find all works cited information

Research at the University level requires you to become an expert on your topic.  The following activity will help you understand the types of sources and types of searches you will use.

Instructions:

First, visit the SunTutor at the library website. Read the following four sections: Find Books, Find Articles, Find Web Info, and Evaluate Sources.

Second, using the techniques described in SunTutor, find a book, article, and website relating to your current topic.

Third, using the "General Guidelines" for How to Evaluate Sources, evaluate the book, article and website you found.
