Polymers Pre-Demo Assignment

This is a Pre-Demo Assignment for the Polymers and Chemical Materials Demo. The kids usually perform this assignment a couple of days before the ASU demo.

The kids are divided into teams, and each team is given a kit containing one each of the following polymer toys, Silly Putty, Play-Doh, Gak Splat and a Bouncy Ball.*



They are asked to complete an assignment sheet, click HERE. The idea is to get them thinking about physical properties of material. The relationship between physical and chemical properties will then be addressed in the ASU demo.
