When driving east on Dunlap one will encounter Circle K’s, grocery stores and gas stations. These types of businesses seem typical considering the area but soon after passing 43rd ave the scenery will change from the common stores you would expect.  A mid size plaza with several different types of Asian store would cater to the needs of Asian cuisine and necessities. The Basket Robbins (see picture A) located right in the center of this plaza stands out completely since it is the only non-Asian business in this area.  The photos from B-F are a small specialty food market, acupuncture office, a restaurant, barber shop and a Korean Plaza. During the time I was observing these businesses, I notice most of the customers were Asian or Asian American. The customers seem to interact with the worker at these businesses as if they were regular customers although a man I spoke to informed me this was his first time in the shop.
