Our Final Exam times are scheduled by the University; they are: If you are in the 10:30 TTH lecture TUE DEC 06 9:50-11:40 AM If you are in the 12:00 TTH lecture TUE DEC 06 12:10- 2:00 PM Because of the high rates of Covid and flu presently circulating in our community, we have been asked to provide a flexible mode of taking our Final Exam for Fall 2022. So there will be a version of the Final Exam at WebAssign. In order to take the Final Exam at WebAssign, you must: Successfully complete the WebAssign assignment entitled REQUIRED Sample Final Exam. As a part of doing so, you will install the WebAssign Lockdown Browser on your Windows or MAC OS. If, for any reason, you cannot successfully complete this assignment, then you must take the on-paper version of the Final in PSF-101. The instructions for successfully completing the REQUIRED Sample Final Exam are here. In order to take the WebAssign version of the Final Exam remotely, you must ALSO: (1) Be able to join our Zoom meeting for the Final Exam with a second device (for most students this second device will be your phone). Anyone taking the Final Exam remotely without joining the Zoom meeting will receive no credit for their Final Exam work. You must remain in the Zoom meeting for the Exam for the entire time that you are working on the Exam remotely. (2) Provide a side view of your working environment with your Zoom camera so that we can confirm that you are using only one screen during the Exam. Here is a cartoon showing a Sample satisfactory view. If you have successfully installed the WebAssign Lockdown Browser on your system, but you cannot provide a satisfactory Zoom view, then you will need to come to our classroom PSF-101 with a fully-charged laptop (the exam lasts 1 hour 50 minutes). If you cannot successfully install the WebAssign Lockdown Browser on your system, then you will need to take the on-paper version of the final exam in our classroom. If you have trouble installing the WebAssign Lockdown Browser, PLEASE do not send email to your instructor or to your TA. No one in physics can help you. You will have to get help from ASU IT or else from WebAssign. If, for any reason, you cannot successfully install the WebAssign Lockdown Browser on your system, then you will need to take the on-paper version of the final exam in our classroom. Thanks, GBA.
