PERFORMANCE MATERIALS
Low End (omaggio: CM)

Glenn Hackbarth: Low End tuba electronics
There are two options available to the performer for acquiring the necessary materials to perform Low End:

Materials can be downloaded from the website at no charge.

Download the score here: Performance Score. Note that this score is in post script (ps) format, unlike the perusal score which is a pdf document. It will produce a significantly better print and can be opened in many image softwares such as PhotoShop and Apple's Preview (this application will convert the document to a pdf but the end quality will still be higher than the regular pdf).

The score is designed to be printed on legal size paper at a print setting to "fill the entire page." The resulting print is generally a bit small to be easily read and it is recommended that the print copy then be duplicated onto a heavier stock, 11 by 17 paper at 110% enlargement. This can be cut down to approximately 9.5 by 15. It is also possible to tape two pages together to achieve a larger part (19 by 15) and minimize page turns.

The electronics for this work exist as a single, stereo sound file which can either be burned to CD for playback on a standard CD player or played on a computer via any available software. The format of the file is a 16-bit, 44.1 Hz sampling rate, aiff file.

To acquire a link to the soundfile, please email me at hackbarth.asu.edu

Materials may be purchased from me directly.

The package consists of:

1. The score/part copied at enlarged size as detailed above on heavy stock paper (printed single-sided), and

2. A CD of the electronics either as a soundfile for import into a computer or as a standard audio CD.
