Lisi Harrison was born in Toronto, Canada. Growing up, she was the head of many cliques herself and kept records of her experiences in journals that she toted around everywhere. To this day, she still keeps daily journals. Lisi moved to New York City after college where she began a career creating and developing shows for MTV, including "Room Raiders." In addition, Lisi was the head writer for MTV Productions and a columnist for Jane magazine.

Since then, Lisi has focused her time on her teen book series, The Clique.
