Bienvenidos! My name is Clarissa Concepción Ibarra. I was born in Phoenix, Arizona, just down the street from where I now live at siete avenida y McDowell. I am a Chicana feminist and thespian-my best-loved voices are music and theatre. Hedda is a hero. I have been studying gender studies and ethnic studies at Arizona State University West for almost 6 years! And to think, I started off as an accounting major-snooze! But awoke to the myriad possibilities to study myself, the human condition, the arts, and to revolutionize the world daily in small and big waves. I arrived on this campus not really knowing who I was or where I came from, but I have grown immensely and now embrace disrupting what I think I know, what I will or will not do and choose constant paradigm shifting as a way of life. I hope viewers will dig what they see on my page and keep in mind that like many great minds, I can get stuck trying to produce the quality of work I aspire to create, oftentimes finding myself overwhelmed by deadlines. This very page will be the result of three days of frantic toiling. Here I go! Open the borders! Migration is a way of life. Órale!
