Dear Valley Residents: I signed up for this class because I needed two more credit hours left to graduate and the topic sounded somewhat interesting to me. But I had no idea I would really learn so much about immigration. Immigration is a huge issue in Arizona right now, especially the issue of immigration reform. We have all seen the marches and protests in the media. It’s a tough issue- and one that the citizens of the Valley (and the rest of the country) need to be informed about. There are as many reasons why people immigrate as there are immigrants themselves, and they all have a story. It is up to us to listen, and learn, from what they say. I encourage all residents of the Valley to be study up about the latest immigration issues--for this time will certainly go down in history.
